There have been reports of cool waves in many districts. Rainfall has been intermittent in Patna, Araria, Siwan, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Katihar, Buxar, Darbhanga, Jehanabad, and Sheikhpura. Clouds have been covering these districts since morning and it has been raining. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for rain, thunderstorms, and thunderstorms in 26 districts of the state today. This includes Patna, Bhojpur, Begusarai, Arwal, Jehanabad, East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Kaimur, Rohtas, and Aurangabad. Alerts have also been issued for Gaya, Siwan, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Saran, Vaishali, Samastipur, Buxar, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, and Nawada.

Rainfall details include 18.6 mm in Bhabhua, 10.4 mm in Rohtas, 10.2 mm in Gaya, and 8.2 mm in Aurangabad, and 7.2 mm in Siwan. The highest maximum temperature recorded in Bihar was 27.0 degrees Celsius in Patna, and the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 10.5 degrees Celsius in Dehri. The average maximum temperature in the state was 24.4 degrees Celsius, and the average minimum temperature was 13.4 degrees Celsius. Gaya district remained the coldest with a temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius in the past 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature was recorded in Aurangabad at 27.8 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Patna was recorded at 10.3 degrees Celsius.
