Republic Day Parade Invitation for Two Women Sanitation Workers in Chapra
The upcoming Republic Day celebration in Chapra on January 26th will be special for two women sanitation workers. The central cabinet has invited the two women to participate in the Republic Day parade as guests. During this trip, both women will visit various museums in Delhi and also participate in the meals. Radha Devi, the wife of Vicky Ram, and Ruby Devi, the wife of Santosh Ram, work as sanitation workers in the Chapra Municipal Corporation. Mayor Ragini Devi honored them for their selection as guests for the Republic Day parade. Radha Devi and Ruby Devi will represent Bihar on the duty path on the 75th Republic Day of the country.
Years of Service and Dreams of Meeting the Prime Minister
Radha Devi and Ruby Devi have been working as sanitation workers in the Chapra Municipal Corporation for several years. Both sanitation workers will go to Delhi for the Republic Day parade at departmental expense. This is the first time that a sanitation worker has received an invitation from the central government to participate in the Republic Day event since the formation of the Chapra Municipal Corporation. Radha Devi mentioned that if she gets the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she will make him aware of her poverty. She expressed her dream of meeting the Prime Minister, which now seems to be coming true. She stated that the monthly salary of 8,000 rupees is not enough to cover household expenses or provide a proper education for her children. She will discuss the demands for permanent employment and housing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Awareness of Sanitation Workers’ Plight and Meeting with the Prime Minister
Sanitation worker Ruby Devi, who has been working as a sanitation worker in the municipal corporation for the past 8 years, mentioned that she is getting the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This meeting will make her aware of the plight of sanitation workers and also about her poverty. She expressed her happiness about getting the chance to sit with Prime Minister Modi, which is a joyous moment in her life. She never imagined that she would have the opportunity to meet the Prime Minister.
छपरा नगर निगम की दो महिला सफाईकर्मियों को इस बार गणतंत्र दिवस परेड में दिल्ली जाने का मौका मिला है। इनका चयन केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने किया है और उन्हें मेयर रागिनी देवी ने सम्मानित किया है। यह पहली बार है कि किसी सफाईकर्मी को गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह में शामिल होने का आमंत्रण मिला है। राधा देवी और रूबी देवी दोनों ही अपनी गरीबी के बारे में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से अवगत कराने का सपना पूरा करने का इंतजार कर रही हैं। इन्हें गणतंत्र दिवस परेड के दौरान 8 हजार रुपए की मासिक वेतन मिलती है, जिससे उनका घर चलता नहीं है और बच्चों की पढ़ाई भी नहीं हो पाती है।
