Senior Citizens Organization in Chapra
After retirement at the age of 60, many important changes occur in the lives of the elderly. In Chapra, there is an organization for senior citizens that is nothing less than a blessing. This organization includes retired professors, teachers, and officers who are associated with it, and its office is located at Shah Banwari Lal Sarovar where dozens of elderly people gather in the evening. The name of this organization is the Senior Citizens Welfare Committee, which fulfills all their needs.
Peace and Entertainment for the Elderly
For the elderly members, coming to this organization provides them with a lot of peace. The organization also addresses issues related to the elderly, such as problems with pensions after retirement or family issues. Reading books and enjoying entertainment, including playing musical instruments, are also activities provided by the organization. In addition to its members, the organization also serves the society by organizing free blood pressure and sugar check-up camps every Sunday at Shah Banwari Lal Sarovar.
Joining the Organization
In order to join the organization, a person must be above 60 years of age. They need to write an application, pay a fee of Rs. 100, fill out a form, and then they receive an ID card. The organization provides all possible help to its members, who come in large numbers to the office daily to interact with each other and find peace and support in each other’s company.
