Paswan accused the Leader of the Opposition of defaming the state by describing it as poor during his visits to other states. Why Chirag Paswan Questioned Tejashwi Yadav

Chirag Paswan expressed his disappointment with Tejashwi Yadav for calling Bihar a poor state while traveling outside. He stated that such a perspective is shameful and brings a bad name to the people of Bihar. Paswan asked the RJD leader to clarify who was responsible for the economic condition of the state over the decades. He believes that political leaders should work towards improving the state’s image rather than highlighting its poverty elsewhere.

The Link Between RJD Rule and Migration

The Union Minister linked the large-scale migration of Biharis to the RJD’s rule in the 1990s. He mentioned that the state witnessed significant displacement during that period because of the lack of industrial growth and security. Chirag Paswan highlighted that his Bihar First, Bihari First initiative aims to reverse the damage caused during that era. According to him, the RJD administration is directly responsible for the backwardness that forced people to leave their homes in search of work.
