CM Meeting with Police Officials
Chief Minister Champai Soren held a crucial meeting with top police officials in the state, giving them strict instructions to improve law and order. He emphasized the need to address issues like snatching, theft, and loot on a daily basis. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, and other officials.
Focus on SC-ST Cases
The CM highlighted the increasing number of cases registered under the SC-ST Act in the state and instructed officials to prioritize their quick resolution. He stressed on monitoring these cases closely and ensuring that pending cases are not overlooked. Additionally, he directed that benefits for families of martyred jawans in Naxal incidents should be promptly provided.
Preventing Public Disruption
During the meeting, CM Soren also addressed concerns regarding police camps in Naxal-affected areas, ensuring that these camps do not cause any inconvenience to the general public. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to improving the legal system and warned against any lapses in crime control by officials.
Action against Drug Trafficking
The CM instructed officials to identify and take action against external elements aiding in opium cultivation in rural areas, as well as those involved in illegal drug trafficking near schools and colleges in various cities. He emphasized the need for a strong campaign against drug abuse to curb this growing issue.
राज्य के सीएम चंपाई सोरेन ने पुलिस अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की और विधि व्यवस्था को लेकर कई निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को अपराध नियंत्रण में सख्ती से काम करने का निर्देश दिया और अफीम की खेती करने वालों तथा ड्रग्स की अवैध बिक्री के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने की भी बात कही। उन्होंने नक्सल प्रभावित इलाकों में पुलिस कैंपों की सुनिश्चितता की भी चिंता जताई।
