Bihar Weather Report: Cold wave intensifies in the state
The temperature has dropped significantly in Bihar, including the capital city of Patna. The cold wave is expected to continue for a few more days in Patna and its surrounding areas. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 13.2 degrees Celsius, which is 9 degrees lower than normal. However, there was a slight increase of 2.7 degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature, reaching 10.2 degrees Celsius. The difference of only three degrees between the maximum and minimum temperature persisted throughout the day.
Possibility of rain in Patna
According to the report by the Meteorological Centre, an anti-cyclonic circulation is currently formed above the sea level, 1.5 km above the surface, over western Bangladesh. In addition, the flow of easterly winds has also begun in the lower tropospheric region. These factors indicate a possibility of weather change. Light rainfall is expected in various parts of the state on January 17. After January 19, the temperature is expected to increase.
Weather conditions in Buxar
Due to the chilly winds, Buxar district experienced a decrease in temperature on Tuesday. There was a drop of almost two degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature. The minimum temperature also dropped by one degree Celsius, reaching six degrees Celsius. As a result, people stayed indoors throughout the day due to the cold. The weather is expected to remain similar for the next few days, offering no respite from the cold.
Cold wave and rainfall in Gaya
Gaya district recorded its third consecutive day of a cold wave on Tuesday. The maximum temperature in the district dropped by two degrees Celsius to reach around 16 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature remained around 6 degrees Celsius. The humidity was 95% in the morning and 80% in the evening. Previously, the coldest day was January 12 when the minimum temperature dropped to 4.9 degrees Celsius. On Monday, Gaya recorded a minimum temperature of 7.0 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 18.1 degrees Celsius. Tuesday witnessed a drop in both minimum and maximum temperatures to 1.8 degrees Celsius and 1.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.
बिहार में ठंड बढ़ चुकी है और पटना सहित सभी जिलों में कनकनी बढ़ी है। पटना और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में कुछ दिनों तक ठंड का सितम चलेगा। मंगलवार को शहर में अधिकतम तापमान 13.2 डिग्री रहा, जो काफी कम है। इसके साथ ही न्यूनतम तापमान में वृद्धि हो गई और वह 10.2 डिग्री रहा। इससे तापमान में सिर्फ तीन डिग्री का अंतर रहा। बिहार में आगामी दिनों में बारिश की संभावना है और तापमान में वृद्धि होगी। बक्सर में भी मंगलवार को ठंड के साथ-साथ वर्फीली हवा चली और तापमान में गिरावट हुई। गया जिले में भी तीसरे दिन कोल्ड डे रिकार्ड हुआ। इसी तरह बिहार के अन्य जिलों में भी तापमान में गिरावट हुई है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार आगामी दिनों में तापमान और लुढ़कने की संभावना है।
