Bihar Weather News: Severe cold has started increasing in Bihar. A little carelessness is now proving costly. Reports of deaths due to cold have started coming from various places in the state. In the past two days, many people have fallen victim to the cold. In Bhagalpur, a laborer died on the road. Meanwhile, in Motihari, a student died in school. In Madhubani, a student collapsed and became unconscious while praying. In Bettiah, a student’s health deteriorated in school. In Bhagalpur, the cold has started increasing. On Thursday, the Sabour area of Bhagalpur experienced the most severe cold, with temperatures dropping to 8 degrees. On the same day, a rickshaw puller suddenly died near the Khalifabagh Chowk on the road from Khalifabagh Chowk to Kotwali Chowk. After the incident, there was a sensation in the area. The information was given to the Kovali police. After that, SI Dharmendra Kumar Dalbal of Kotwali police station reached the spot with his team. The body was taken into possession and sent for postmortem. Based on the FIR filed by the relatives, a UD case was registered in the matter. The identity of the deceased, who died while loading cement sacks in Lodipur Jagatpur, has been given as Mohd. Ijhar. When the information was received, his relatives also reached the spot. They expressed concern that he died due to the cold. However, the police mentioned that the cause of death will be confirmed after the postmortem report. During this time, local people also reached there. The relatives demanded compensation from the police officers present at the scene regarding the death. After getting the postmortem done, it was confirmed in the report that the death was due to the cold. Compensation was provided by the district administration according to the rules. Eyewitnesses stated that the rickshaw puller, Ijhar, was loading cement sacks onto his rickshaw. During this time, he suddenly collapsed. After struggling for some time, he passed away. In Madhubani, a student fainted while going to class after a prayer session. In Madhubani’s Benipatti block, a student of Class 8 of Ideal Government Middle School Tisiyahi collapsed near the school premises around 10 am. He was immediately taken to a private clinic and the relatives were informed. Doctors provided initial treatment to the child before his condition became normal. The unconscious student was identified as Krishna Kumar Das, the son of Nitish Das, who is a resident of Tyoth. It is said that the child fainted during the prayer session in school. The headmaster, Ganga Prasad Kanth, mentioned that the child’s health deteriorated during the prayer assembly but was immediately brought under control by pouring water and massaging him with
