Chilly Weather in Bihar
The temperature in Sachidanand/Patna, Bihar continues to drop due to the cold wave, resulting in freezing temperatures. The situation has become so extreme that stepping out of the blanket has become as risky as putting one’s life in danger. People are either staying near heaters all day or relying on fire for warmth. This freezing weather is caused by the icy cold wind blowing at a speed of 25 km/h, creating a situation similar to a cold day. The estimated maximum temperature in Bihar today is between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius.
Possibility of Dense Fog
According to information received from the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of dense fog in the northern, southwestern, and southern-central parts of the state. The entire Bihar is experiencing a situation similar to a cold day with dense fog, according to Dr. Ashish Kumar, a senior scientist at the Meteorological Center. Some relief can be expected after January 15th. The maximum temperature in Bihar today is estimated to be between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. During the last 24 hours, dense fog was observed in one or two places in Gaya, Patna, and Purnia districts, while light to moderate fog prevailed in most parts of the state during the morning hours.
Extreme Cold Conditions in Bihar
Along with dense fog, cold day conditions were recorded in Patna, Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Vaishali, and Gopalganj districts of the state. During the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 20.2°C in Aurangabad, while the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 4.9°C in Banka. The average maximum temperature in Bihar was recorded at 18.7°C, while the average minimum temperature was recorded at 8.2°C.
बिहार में शीतलहर के कारण तापमान लगातार कम हो रहा है और कंपकंपी वाली ठंड जारी है। लोग रजाई से निकलने को जोखिम में डालने के बराबर हो गए हैं और दिनभर हीटर या अलाव के साथ रह रहे हैं। मौसम की वजह से बिहार में बर्फीली हवा चल रही है और इससे शीत दिवस जैसी स्थिति बनी हुई है। राज्य के उत्तर, दक्षिण-पश्चिम और दक्षिण मध्य भागों में घना कुहासा छाए रहने की संभावना है। इसके साथ ही, पटना और अन्य कई जिलों में शीत दिवस दर्ज किया गया है। तापमान के अनुसार, बिहार में अधिकतम तापमान 16-18 डिग्री सेल्सियस और न्यूनतम तापमान 8-10 डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच रहने का अनुमान है। लोगों के लिए शीत दिवस के दौरान गाइडलाइन जारी की गई हैं, जिसमें उन्हें घर के अंदर रहने, गर्म पानी का सेवन करने, बच्चों और बुजुर्गों का विशेष ध्यान रखने की सलाह दी गई है। लोगों को कंपकंपी को नज़रअंदान न करें, क्योंकि यह शरीर के तापमान को कम कर सकता है।
