Violent Attack in Matokhar Village
In Matokhar village under the jurisdiction of Sheikhpura police station area, a young man who was beating his pregnant wife was intervened by a couple who tried to stop him. However, the couple was brutally attacked by the miscreants and left severely injured. Both of them have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment.
Identification of the Victims
The injured couple has been identified as Seema Devi and her husband Rajesh Kumar. Seema Devi, who is one of the victims, explained that their neighbor Ramashankar Yadav was beating his pregnant wife Kavita Devi over some issue. When the couple tried to stop the man from beating his wife, the situation escalated and the miscreants attacked them instead, leaving both Seema Devi and her husband injured.
Medical Treatment and Police Action
The injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment by the doctors at the hospital. The woman described the accused as a notorious individual. The condition of the injured woman is said to be serious. The SHO of the police station, Dharmendra Kumar, mentioned that after receiving a written complaint about the incident, the local police station has registered a case and further action will be taken. Tension has escalated between both parties after the incident.
