Security Arrangements for Bakrid in Patna City

On the occasion of Bakrid, tight security arrangements were made in Patna City. Police forces were deployed at various locations and flag marches were conducted with police officials, station officers, and SAF personnel. Despite these measures, criminals attacked an employee of a Dayan Iron Company late on Sunday night with knives. The injured employee was admitted to Nalanda Medical College Hospital in Patna for treatment, where he was declared dead by doctors.

Search Operation for Criminals

As soon as the incident was reported, panic spread in the Mal Salami area of Patna City. Providing information about the incident, the Mal Salami police station in-charge Rajkumar Singh stated that the employee of Dayan Iron Company had left his house for duty on Sunday night. On the way, he was attacked by criminals with a knife on the neck. The search operation for the criminals is ongoing, with inquiries being made with some individuals.

Was Going for Night Duty

It is reported that Sanjeev Kumar Sinha originally belonged to Kajra village in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. Currently, Sanjeev Kumar Sinha was residing in the house of Govardhan Singh in the Mal Salami police station area of Patna City. He was working at the Dayan Iron Company. Due to his night duty on Sunday, he was leaving his house to go on duty when he was attacked by criminals on the way with knives. Despite the strict security arrangements for Bakrid in Patna City, a major incident occurred. Local residents mentioned that despite repeated calls, the Mal Salami police station officials did not answer the phone.
