Crime Wave Hits Patna Once Again

In Patna, criminals have once again wreaked havoc. The incident took place in the Gopalpur police station area of Patna where, on Saturday evening, criminals shot and killed a woman at an ATM. The seriously injured woman was admitted to NMCH for treatment, where she was declared dead by the doctors. After receiving information about the incident from the relatives, the police arrived at the scene and started investigating the whole case.

Identity of the Deceased Victim and Accusations Made

The deceased victim has been identified as Kumari Pushpa, a resident of Musahari village in the Chandi police station area of Nalanda district, who was posted as an ATM in-charge at the Pandarak Primary Health Center. It is said that 50-year-old Kumari Pushpa was on duty in Rajendra Nagar during the pulse polio campaign. During this time, she was shot by criminals in the Bhelwada village of the Gopalpur police station area, resulting in her death. The motive behind the murder is said to be a dispute over money transactions.

Complaints and Allegations Made by the Husband

Regarding the incident, the husband of the deceased, Jagdev Prasad, has accused Jitendra Prasad and his brother Promod Kumar, residents of Hanuman Nagar, of murdering Kumari Pushpa. Jagdev Prasad stated that about 9-10 years ago, Kumari Pushpa had borrowed 2 lakh rupees from Jitendra Prasad. He mentioned that he had already repaid 80-90 thousand rupees of the debt, but Jitendra Prasad and his brother Promod Kumar were pressuring him to pay the remaining amount and had also threatened him with his life.
