In the Dhattha village of the Rosda police station area of Samastipur district in Bihar, the body of a missing teenager was found hanging in the window of the village’s high school on Saturday morning. The body was identified as that of Anmol Kumar (15), the son of the village’s Shambhu Mahato. He was a student of the 9th class in the same school. After the discovery of the body, a sensation spread in the area. A large number of people gathered at the scene. Upon receiving the information, the police also arrived at the scene to investigate.
According to information, Anmol had been missing from home for the past two days. Family members were searching for him at their level. During this time, people were informed in the morning that Anmol’s body was hanging from the grill of the window in front of the main gate of the village high school. The news spread like wildfire in the area. A large number of people gathered at the scene. The body of the teenager was hanging from the grill with a cloth. Both slippers of the teenager were found right under his feet. It is believed that the teenager committed suicide by hanging. However, family members allege that after Anmol was murdered, his body was hanged from the grill.
It is said that Anmol had been missing for two days, but family members were searching for him at their level. No report was filed at the police station. Meanwhile, many questions are being raised about how the body entered the school premises even though the main gate of the school was closed. Since the school’s watchman was sleeping on the roof of the school, he did not notice anything.
Rosda Station House Officer and Inspector Mukesh Kumar Mandal stated that upon receiving information about the incident, the body is being seized for postmortem. This is being done to determine whether the teenager was murdered or if he committed suicide for some reason. The entire case is under investigation. So far, the family members have not submitted a written application.
