Devotees gather for Ganga Snan on Buddha Purnima

On the occasion of Buddha Purnima and Vaishakh Purnima, a large crowd gathered at the holy Uttarvahini Ganga ghat in Sultanaganj, Ajgaivinath Dham for Ganga Snan. Devotees from various districts of Bihar and Jharkhand took a dip in the Ganges and offered prayers at the Ajgaivinath Temple. They believe that on Buddha Purnima, all desires are fulfilled through worship and prayers, making it a significant day.

The police were alert and vigilant as hundreds of devotees performed rituals and took a dip in the Ganges on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. Some devotees faced difficulties while bathing in the river due to large boulders. The police, under the supervision of the station in-charge, ensured the safety and security of the devotees at the temple and designated areas.

Special celebrations on Buddha Jayanti

In addition to the Ganga Snan, the Ram family celebrated Buddha Jayanti in lane number five of the Nap area. The chairman, Aman Kumar, pledged to follow the path shown by Buddha, and many people attended the celebration. Prasad was distributed to all present at the event.
