Universities in Uttar Pradesh participating in CUET UG:
CUET UG 2023 saw the participation of 35 universities from Uttar Pradesh, five of which were included in the NIRF Ranking 2023 list. These universities are also expected to participate in CUET this year.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is the top university in Uttar Pradesh. It ranks 5th in the NIRF university rankings and 11th overall. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is in second place, ranking 9th in the NIRF university rankings and 19th overall. As for other government universities, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University ranks 42nd in the NIRF university rankings and 69th overall.

In Banaras Hindu University, the fees for BA, BCom, BFA, Bachelor of Music in 2023 were Rs. 2407 per year. However, for 2024, it is proposed to increase it to Rs. 3420. The fees for BSc (Honors) were Rs. 3,167, which is proposed to be increased to Rs. 4,400.
