Cuet UG 2024 Exam Delayed in Some Places
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to undergraduate courses was started late on Thursday in some places in Delhi. The delay in the exam commencement was due to last-minute changes in exam centers and issues with downloading admit cards. Meanwhile, the test started on Wednesday in the rest of the country. The exam was postponed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) citing “manpower issues” and by the UGC chief citing “unavoidable circumstances.”
Challenges Faced by Students in CUET UG Exam Centers
Students at CUET UG exam centers are facing various difficulties. According to a report in the Indian Express, one student had to miss the exam due to confusion. Ayush Tripathi from Gorakhpur said, “I downloaded my updated admit card last night, which showed my center as Karaval Nagar. Today, I had my Hindi exam in Slot 2. I reached my center on time, but 15 minutes before the exam, I received an automated call from NTA asking me to download my admit card again.”
Student Feedback on CUET UG Exam Experience
Humanities student Sneha Singh from South West Delhi said, “I had to face some difficulties in time management because there were more analytical questions and fewer passage-type questions. In addition, there was no clock in my room.” In response to students’ complaints, UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar shared a post. According to the post, “The second day of CUET-UG was successfully completed across India. The exam was conducted for Hindi, Economics, Mathematics, and Physics.”
अंडर ग्रेजुएट कोर्सेज में एडमिशन के लिए आयोजित कॉमन यूनिवर्सिटी एंट्रेंस एग्जाम (CUET) की परीक्षा दिल्ली के कुछ जगह पर गुरुवार को देरी से शुरू हुई. परीक्षा देर शुरू होने की वजह अंतिम समय में परीक्षा केंद्रों में बदलाव, एडमिट कार्ड डाउनलोड करने की समस्या है. देश के बाकी हिस्सों में टेस्ट बुधवार को शुरू हुआ, जबकि दिल्ली में CUET परीक्षा स्थगित कर दी गई थी। सीयूईटी यूजी की परीक्षा केंद्रों पर छात्रों को कई तरह की दिक्कतों का भी सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
