Bihar State Icon Maithili Thakur Honored at Sasaram Lok Sabha Awareness Program
Under the Voter Awareness Program for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, cultural programs were organized to educate voters in the Sasaram Lok Sabha constituency. Maithili Thakur, Bihar State Icon, was honored at the Lichhavi Bhavan in Bhabhua for her contribution to music and songs to raise awareness among the voters of Sasaram Lok Sabha area. District Magistrate Savan Kumar honored Maithili Thakur and inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp.
Maithili Thakur Encourages Voter Participation Through Music
Maithili Thakur, through her songs and music, encouraged the voters present at the event to actively participate in the voting process. She used her mobile phone to create videos and raise awareness about voting by flashing the mobile’s light. She promised to return with her team if the voter turnout in the Sasaram Lok Sabha constituency is high on June 1st, praising the people of Kaimur for their love and support.
Importance of Voter Awareness Programs
District Magistrate Savan Kumar emphasized the importance of voter awareness programs to educate voters about the voting process. The goal is to raise awareness among voters through music and songs so that they actively participate in the voting process on June 1st. Various officials and dignitaries were present at the event to support the initiative.
Encouraging Maximum Voter Turnout
An appeal was made to the public to actively participate in the voting process and upload their voting selfies on the NIC website to receive prizes. Officials like Additional Development Commissioner Gyan Prakash, SDM Vijay Kumar, and DSP Shiv Shankar Kumar, along with a large number of officials and dignitaries, were present at the event to encourage voter participation.
सासाराम लोकसभा आम निर्वाचन 2024 मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में बिहार स्टेट आईकॉन मैथिली ठाकुर भभुआ के लिच्छवी भवन में पहुंचीं और मतदाताओं को जागरूक करने के लिए गीत संगीत के माध्यम से मतदान के महत्व को बताया। कैमूर डीएम सावन कुमार ने मैथिली ठाकुर को सम्मानित किया और उनके गानों से मतदाताओं को उत्साहित किया। दीप जलाकर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ करने के बाद, मैथिली ठाकुर ने मतदान के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने का आग्रह किया और दोबारा आने का भी वादा किया। इस कार्यक्रम में कई पदाधिकारी और लोगों ने भाग लिया और मतदान के महत्व को साझा किया।
