Continuous Cyber Fraud in Sheikhpura
In Sheikhpura, the cyber fraud gang members are continuously carrying out fraudulent activities. The criminals from the inter-district gang have duped a doctor of Rs 30,000. Additionally, they illegally withdrew Rs 74,535 from another person’s bank account by swapping the ATM card.
ATM Swapping Incident in Gangapur Village
Sarjug Prasad, a resident of Gangapur village in Kasar Thana area, fell victim to the cyber fraud gang who started withdrawing money from his bank account through ATM swapping from May 25 onwards. Within a span of 4 days, all the money was withdrawn from his account.
Police Investigation and Confirmation
The police got involved in the case after the victim reported the incident. The cyber criminals withdrew money from his account through an ATM located on VIP Road in the city. The Station Officer of the Cyber Police Station, Anit Kumar Yadav, confirmed the incident and stated that the investigation has begun.
Another Cyber Fraud Case in Barbiga
An employee of the Agriculture Department and a doctor in Barbiga city have also been targeted by cyber criminals. Kantibhushan Kumar, an agricultural advisor residing in Bawani Bigga village, had his mobile phone hacked by cyber offenders. They sent a virus through a fake Ayushman app downloaded from the Play Store, leading to further fraudulent activities.
शेखपुरा में साइबर फ्रॉड गिरोह के बदमाश लगातार ठगी की घटनाओं को अंजाम दे रहे हैं। एक चिकित्सक से 30 हजार रुपए की ठगी करने के साथ ही, दूसरे के बैंक खाता से एटीएम बदलकर 74,535 रुपए की अवैध निकासी कर ली गई। साइबर थाना के एसआई अनित कुमार यादव ने मामले की छानबीन शुरू कर दी है और जांच की जा रही है। इसके अतिरिक्त, बरबीघा शहर के एक कर्मचारी और एक चिकित्सक को भी अपना शिकार बनाने का मामला सामने आया है।
