Darbhanga Small Businesses to Export Products
In a positive development, small businesses in the Darbhanga district will now be able to export their products. The government has opened an export center at the Darbhanga and Laheriasarai main post office. Local businesses can now send their products to foreign countries and earn significant profits. This initiative will prove to be effective in promoting the central government’s startup scheme. To send their local products abroad, businesses must first register here, with GST registration being mandatory.
Registration for Exporting Local Products
According to Postmaster S.S. Suman, 22 individuals have already registered for exporting their products. Some of these individuals are local business owners, while others are sending goods to their relatives living abroad. This plan will be beneficial for local business owners, as they can now send their products to 219 countries worldwide. Major countries included in this scheme are Australia, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Canada, USA, UK, Afghanistan, Belgium, Bhutan, Bangladesh, China, Denmark, France, Germany, and more.
Supplying Products to 219 Countries
Local businesses in the region can now export their products to 219 countries, providing them with a global market reach. Acting Executive Officer Sudhir Kumar Prabhakar from the Laheriasarai Post Office explains that local business owners can now send their local products to foreign countries at a lower cost than before. This allows people in the region to supply products like Mithila paintings and makhana to 219 countries. If the quantity is low, businesses can bring the goods to the post office, while postal department workers will visit warehouses for heavy shipments.
दरभंगा जिले के अब छोटे व्यापारी अपने प्रोडक्ट को विदेशों में भेज सकेंगे जिसके लिए सरकार ने दरभंगा और लहेरियासराय प्रधान डाकघर में डाकघर निर्यात केंद्र खोला है। इस योजना के तहत स्थानीय व्यापारी अपने लोकल प्रोडक्ट को 219 देशों में भेज सकेंगे। अब यहां के व्यापारी मिथिला पेंटिंग और मखाने जैसे प्रोडक्ट की सप्लाई खुद से कर सकेंगे और अच्छा मुनाफा कमा सकेंगे। इस योजना के तहत व्यापारी को रजिस्ट्रेशन कराना होगा जिसके लिए जीएसटी अनिवार्य है।
