Body Found Hanging in Hotel Room in Purnia
In the hotel Crystal Blue on Jail Road in the assistant inspector’s area of Purnia, a girl from Araria was found hanging from the ceiling. Around noon, after the checkout time had passed, the hotel staff grew suspicious when there was no movement in the room. When the room was opened with a duplicate key, everyone was shocked to see the girl’s body hanging from the fan. The hotel staff immediately called the police for investigation, and the FSL team has been called in for further inquiry.
CCTV Footage Shows a Boy Entering the Girl’s Room
Upon receiving information about the incident, SP Pushkar Kumar and Assistant Inspector Thana Director Shashi Kumar Bhagat have arrived at the scene. The CCTV cameras in the hotel are being checked, and footage shows a boy entering the girl’s room. The boy is identified as Babul Kumar, a resident of Purnia College Road in the Hat Thana area. The girl has been identified as Nishan Rani (21), the daughter of Madan Mehta from Ward-9 of Verma Colony in Araria district.

The girl’s family members, who hail from Araria, have rushed to Purnia upon receiving news of the incident. पूर्णिया के सहायक खजांची थाना क्षेत्र के जेल रोड स्थित होटल क्रिस्टल ब्लू में अररिया की लड़की की फंदे से लटकती लाश मिली है। दोपहर करीब 12 बजे रूम चेक आउट का समय बीतने के बाद भी जब कमरे से कोई हलचल नहीं हुई तो होटल स्टाफ को किसी अनहोनी की आशंका हुई। डूप्लीकेट चाबी से जब कमरा खोला गया, तो लड़की की पंखे से लटकती लाश देखकर सबके होश उड़ गए। होटल स्टाफ ने पुलिस को फोन किया। घटना की तफ्तीश के लिए FSL की टीम को बुलाया गया है। लड़की की पहचान निशान रानी (21) के रूप में हुई है। जो अररिया जिले के वर्मा कॉलोनी के वार्ड-9 निवासी मदन मेहता की बेटी है।
