After a horrific road accident in Madhepura, a young man was burned alive. The incident took place in the Rationa Bazaar area of the Arar OP area under the Gwalpada subdivision. Late Tuesday night, a coal-loaded truck lost control and collided with an electricity pole, causing five shops to be demolished. The impact was so strong that the truck caught fire. The young man sitting in the truck was unable to escape and was burned alive.
The incident caused panic in the area. A crowd of people gathered around. After the incident, the police arrived at the scene and began investigating. Local residents reported that around midnight, a coal-laden truck coming from Madhepura collided with an electricity pole, destroying four to five shops. The truck caught fire afterwards. Due to the late hour, there was no one around. After a while, flames were seen rising from the truck. By the time the man sitting in the engine compartment and the truck driver could escape, they were completely burned.
These shops have been completely damaged by the fire.
After the incident, the locals informed the local police and fire department. With the help of three fire engines, the fire was brought under control. Local residents reported that the uncontrolled truck completely damaged five shops in the Rationa Bazaar area. This includes Salauddin’s egg shop, Sanullah’s mobile shop, Lal Manohar Das’s general store, Ravi Thakur’s salon, and Samo Das’s grocery store. The truck’s registration number is UP12BT 4872, and it was heading towards Uda Kishunganj from Madhepura.
The cause of the fire is not clear.
Arar OP in-charge Pappu Kumar stated that late at night, local residents informed about the fire in the truck. The fire department arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control. The truck was loaded with coal. The cause of the fire is not clear, and the police are conducting an investigation. The body parts recovered from the truck have been sent for postmortem. The identity of the deceased has not been determined.
