Death of a Man in Suspicious Condition in Nalanda
An elderly man was found dead in suspicious circumstances in Nalanda. The incident took place near Chorsua Bridge in Pawapuri OP area. The body was identified as that of Ranjeet Prasad, the 48-year-old son of Visheshwar Mahto, a resident of Manpur in the Maanpur Thana area, through an Aadhar card found in his pocket.
Details of the Incident
The deceased’s nephew revealed that his uncle used to work as a laborer inside a factory in Gujarat. He had boarded a train from Gujarat and reached Bihar Sharif on Monday. From there, he had taken an auto to Manpur. It is speculated that he may have fallen ill during the auto journey and the auto driver may have dropped him near Chorsua Bridge, leading to his death due to heatstroke.
Police Investigation and Postmortem
The Manpur police were informed about the incident. The family suspects that the man fell ill due to heatstroke during the auto journey and was dropped near Chorsua Bridge, leading to his demise. The body was taken to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Further action will be taken based on the postmortem report and investigation.
Police Report and Further Action
The Pawapuri OP in-charge, Ravi Kumar Gupta, stated that the villagers informed the police about a body lying near Chorsua Bridge. The police reached the scene and identified the deceased using the Aadhar card found with him. The body was taken into custody for postmortem at Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital. The initial suspicion is that the man died due to heatstroke, but the exact cause of death will be revealed after the postmortem report. Action will be taken accordingly once more information is obtained.
नालंदा में संदिग्ध हालत में एक अधेड़ की मौत हो गई। शव की पहचान मानपुर थाना क्षेत्र के मानपुर निवासी विशेश्वर महतो के (48) वर्षीय पुत्र रंजीत प्रसाद के रूप में की गई। मृतक के भतीजे ने बताया कि उसके चाचा गुजरात में रहकर फैक्ट्री के अंदर मजदूरी करते थे। उनकी मौत के कारण अभी तक स्पष्ट नहीं हुआ है।
