Details of the Tragic Incident

The crime took place at House No. 84/E, Gali No. 3, near Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Chandan Park. The victims have been identified as Anita and her three minor daughters, aged 3, 4, and 5 years. Police officials arrived at the scene after receiving a call, reportedly around Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning. Upon entering the ground floor room, they found the four bodies with deep cuts on their necks.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the victims were attacked with a sharp-edged weapon while they were likely asleep or caught off guard. There were no signs of forced entry into the house, which strengthened the suspicion against the husband. Neighbors alerted the authorities after noticing that the house had been locked for an unusual amount of time without any response from the family inside.

Police Investigation and Suspect Search

The main suspect in this quadruple murder is Munchun Kewat, the husband of the deceased woman. He is originally from Patna, Bihar, and worked locally in the area. According to initial inquiries with neighbors and relatives, the family had been facing domestic issues, which police suspect could be the motive behind this extreme step.

A case has been officially registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for murder. Senior officers, including the DCP of Outer North Delhi, confirmed that special teams have been formed to track Munchun Kewat. Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams have collected blood samples and other evidence from the site to build a strong case once the suspect is caught.
