A person seeking to file an application at the Pipra police station in Supaul demanded money from the clerk. Since the applicant did not have the money, the application was not being accepted at the station. The victim waited for hours before finally meeting with the station in-charge Sanjay Das. When the victim explained the problem, Das asked to record it, stating that there is no station that does not demand money.
15 years of corruption in Pipra police station
The victim revealed that they have been giving two to five hundred rupees to the clerk for the past 15 years. A video of this incident surfaced on social media on Wednesday, lasting 1 minute and 17 seconds. The SP has ordered an investigation into the matter, stating that every station demands money. The victim had gone to file an application in a case of assault involving two parties.

On Wednesday, a physical altercation occurred over a land dispute in Ward-3 of Tulapatti Panchayat in the Pipra police station area. Three people were seriously injured from one side in the incident. The injured party went to the Pipra police station to file an application, where they were asked for money in exchange for accepting the application. The victim had to wait for hours to file the application.
Case registered on victim’s application in Pipra police station
The victim, Radheshyam Mandal, explained that a physical altercation took place over a land dispute with Vidyanand Mandal from the same village. The injured party went to the station to file an application, where the clerk demanded money for expenses. Due to lack of money, the application was not being accepted at the station, causing the victims to wait for hours. The station in-charge also started demanding money from the clerk, creating further distress for the victims.
सुपौल में पिपरा थाने में एक आवेदक के लिए मुंशी ने रुपयों की मांग की और आवेदक के पास पैसे नहीं होने के कारण थाना में आवेदन नहीं लिया जा रहा था। इसके बाद थानाध्यक्ष संजय दास से मुलाकात हुई और उसने आवेदक की समस्या को सुना। एसपी ने जांच के आदेश दिए हैं और मामले की जांच की जा रही है। इस मामले में दो पक्षों के बीच मारपीट की घटना घटी थी और आवेदक के लिए पैसों की मांग की जा रही थी। वीडियो की जांच के बाद कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
