What’s inside:

A serious road accident occurred in Bihar due to dense fog, involving multiple vehicles including ambulances, leading to injuries and traffic disruptions.

On Monday morning, a tragic road accident took place in Bihar on National Highway-57 near Kevatsa turn in Muzaffarpur. The thick fog and cold weather made driving very dangerous, with visibility dropping to just a few meters. This led to a pile-up of about six vehicles, including three ambulances.

The scene was chaotic as the crash created panic among the nearby crowd. Eyewitnesses described the horrifying moment when the vehicles collided, filling the air with screams. One of the ambulances, which had a serious patient inside, was particularly damaged, with its front completely crushed.

Local residents rushed to help as they heard the cries from inside the wrecked ambulance. They bravely broke the glass to rescue the injured, which included the driver and the patient who needed urgent medical attention. The situation was critical, with blood and broken glass scattered at the accident site.

Initial reports suggest that the accident might have happened due to sudden braking by the vehicles in front, causing a chain reaction of collisions. The injured were quickly taken to a nearby hospital, and due to their serious condition, they were referred to Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital.

Police arrived at the scene soon after the accident was reported. They worked together with local people to clear the debris and restore traffic on NH-57 after several hours of effort. The accident caused a long traffic jam, highlighting the need for caution while driving in foggy conditions.
