Devotees Gather for Jalabhishek at Vidyapati Dham Mandir

On the third Monday of the month of Sawan in Samastipur, devotees have gathered at the Thaneswar Temple, as well as at the Vidyapati Dham and Khudneshwar Temple, for the ritual of Jalabhishek. The morning started with the adornment of Lord Mahadev and the beginning of the Jalabhishek ceremony. Devotees of all ages have come together for this auspicious occasion.

Tight Security Measures in Place for the Event

To manage the crowd, the city police have deployed male and female officers within the temple premises. Additionally, police officers in plain clothes have been stationed at various locations to keep an eye out for any potential thieves. Separate entry and exit paths have been created for men and women within the temple to control the crowd.

Large Turnout Expected at the Temple

It is estimated that more than 25,000 people will participate in the Jalabhishek ceremony on the third Monday at the Vidyapati Dham Mandir. Due to the large gathering, traffic has been halted on the roads leading to the temple. The historical significance of this temple attracts devotees from far and wide to witness the ceremony.

Devotees Pay Homage at Vidyapati Dham Mandir

At 5 am, the Jalabhishek ceremony began at the Vidyapati Dham Mandir, where devotees gathered to witness the ritual. This temple holds a special place in the hearts of the people, and it is believed that over 100,000 individuals will participate in the ceremony on the third Monday. The temple committee priests are expecting a massive turnout for this auspicious event.

समस्तीपुर में सावन की तीसरी सोमवारी पर विद्यापति धाम और खुदनेश्वर स्थान मंदिर में जलाभिषेक के लिए भक्तों की भीड़ जुटी। भीड़ को नियंत्रित करने के लिए पुलिस ने विभिन्न उपाय अपनाए, जिससे भीड़ कम हो। इस दिन लोगों की भीड़ को देखते हुए वाहनों की आवाजाही पर रोक लगाई गई और पुलिस ने भी नजर रखने के लिए कई जगहों पर तैनाती की। विद्यापति धाम मंदिर में भी सुबह 5 बजे जलाभिषेक शुरू हुआ और इस दिन करीब 25 हजार से अधिक लोगों ने इस मंदिर में जलाभिषेक किया।
