Dhanbad Jail Incharge and four other jail officials have been suspended in connection with the murder of a murder suspect in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Two other jail officials have also had their contracts terminated due to negligence in this case. The Deputy Mayor of Dhanbad, who was accused of the murder, was himself killed inside the jail on Sunday afternoon. The Jail Superintendent, Mohammed Mustaqin Ansari, has been suspended and departmental action will be taken against him.
The Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad, Barun Ranjan, stated that “the jail officials at Pant Jail have been suspended in this case. Two other jail officials have had their contracts terminated.” He further mentioned that one of the accused who shot at the suspect has been identified as Sundar Mahato and is currently being interrogated. Four FIRs have been registered in this case and the crime scene has been barricaded.

झारखंड के धनबाद जेल में एक हत्या के आरोपी की हत्या हो गई है। इस मामले में जेलर समेत पांच जेल अधिकारियों को निलंबित कर दिया गया है और दो अन्य जेल अधिकारियों के कॉन्ट्रैक्ट को भी समाप्त कर दिया गया है। धनबाद के डिप्टी मेयर की हत्या करने के आरोप में जेल में बंद आरोपी अमन सिंह की रविवार को दोपहर के समय जेल के अंदर ही हत्या हो गई। जेलर मोहम्मद मुस्तकिन अंसारी को निलंबित किया गया है और उनके खिलाफ अब विभागीय कार्रवाई की जाएगी। धनबाद के उपायुक्त ने बताया कि इस मामले में चार आफआईआर दर्ज किए गए हैं और घटनास्थल को बैरिकेडिंग कर दिया गया है।
