For the past four days, Dhanbad has been experiencing a consistent rise in cold weather, with the minimum temperature dropping. The impact of the cold weather is now visible during the daytime as well, despite the sunny weather. On Sunday, the maximum temperature remained at 22.5 degrees Celsius.
Makar Sankranti celebrations amidst the cold in Dhanbad
Most people in Dhanbad are celebrating Makar Sankranti on Monday. Those who take a bath in the morning during this festival will have to endure the cold, with temperatures ranging between 6-7 degrees Celsius.
Possibility of rain in Dhanbad on 17-18 January
According to the Ranchi Meteorological Centre, Dhanbad and its surrounding districts such as Bokaro and Giridih are expected to receive rainfall on 17-18 January. After the rain stops, the cold weather will return to Dhanbad. The city has been experiencing continuous cold weather for the past four days, with the minimum temperature dropping and the impact of the cold weather being felt during the daytime as well.
