Dispatch of EVMs
On Thursday evening, after the election buzz quieted down, the polling officials dispatched EVMs and other materials from the dispatch center to their respective polling centers. In Nalanda, there are a total of 7 assembly constituencies, each having a separate dispatch center for the upcoming elections.
Dispatch Centers for Various Assembly Constituencies
For Asthawan assembly constituency, the dispatch center was set up at Pauru Mahato Somari College, Biharsharif assembly constituency at Sugra College, Harnaut assembly constituency at Sugra College, Rajgir assembly constituency at RDS College, Hilsa-Islampur assembly constituency at Rambabu College, and for Nalanda assembly constituency at Rasbihari College.
Preparation for Polling
Special arrangements have been made by the district administration to ensure a peaceful and impartial Lok Sabha election. A total of 2365 polling centers have been set up across the district, with 1200 booths being highly sensitive. The district administration is fully alert and prepared to conduct the elections in a fair and peaceful manner.
Special Arrangements for EVM Collection
This time, special arrangements have been made by the district administration for EVM collection. There are 20 counters set up for each assembly constituency, totaling 140 counters for the collection of EVMs. A Vajragriha has been set up at Nalanda College for storing the polled EVMs, with changes made in the transportation arrangements in Biharsharif for bringing the polled EVMs.
गुरुवार को चुनावी शोर थमने के बाद शुक्रवार को मतदान कर्मी डिस्पैच सेंटर से ईवीएम और अन्य सामग्री लेकर अपने-अपने मतदान केंद्रों की ओर प्रस्थान कर गए हैं। नालंदा में कुल 7 विधानसभा क्षेत्र हैं और सातों विधानसभा के लिए अलग-अलग डिस्पैच सेंटर बनाए गए थे। जिले भर में कुल 2365 मतदान केंद्र बनाए गए हैं और हर हाल में लोकसभा चुनाव शांतिपूर्ण माहौल में निष्पक्ष तरीके से कराने को लेकर जिला प्रशासन पूरी तरह से सजग और तैयार है। ईवीएम जमा करने के लिए हर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए 20 काउंटर यानी कुल 140 काउंटरों के माध्यम से व्यवस्था की गई है।
