Dispute Arises Between Railway Staff and Passengers Over Reservation Tickets at Three Stations in Malda Rail Division

A dispute arose between railway staff and passengers on Wednesday over the issue of making Tatkal reservations at the reservation ticket counters of three stations in Malda rail division. According to information received, a passenger from Bhagalpur submitted a form at the reservation ticket counter of the three stations to make a Tatkal reservation for the Surat Express train, which he intended to take from Bhagalpur to Surat. However, due to the unavailability of confirmed tickets, an argument broke out between the booking staff and the passenger. The situation became chaotic between the two parties. Furthermore, the passengers who were making reservations also accused the staff of using abusive language. The staff denied all allegations and did not engage in any conversation with the passengers using disrespectful language. Local residents intervened and managed to calm down the situation. CS Ajay Kumar Saha, in charge of the booking counter, stated that there has been a technical issue in the system for the past few days, causing inconvenience in ticket bookings.
