Disruption of Train Services in Siwan Railway Junction

Train operations from Siwan Railway Junction in Bihar have been suspended, causing increasing inconvenience to passengers. Travelling has become difficult due to the cold weather, dense fog, and accidents. With the cancellation and changes in train schedules, passengers are now hesitant to travel even by road. Several trains running from Siwan to Thawe and Gorakhpur routes have been suspended, while two trains have had their routes changed.

Cancelled Trains

The following trains have been cancelled: 1) Train number 05191 Thawe Express from Siwan to Thawe, 2) Train number 05035 Gorakhpur Special Express from Siwan to Thawe, 3) Train number 15203-04 Lucknow Barauni Express from Lucknow to Barauni, 4) Lichchavi Express from Sitamarhi to New Delhi and vice versa, 5) Train number 15621-22 Anand Vihar Terminal Express from Guwahati to New Delhi and vice versa, 6) Train number 14617-18 Jansewa Express from Purnia to Banmankhi and vice versa, and 7) Train number 14673-74 Shaheed Express from Jaynagar to Amritsar and vice versa.

Changes in Train Routes

Two trains have had their routes changed: 1) Train number 12529-30 Lucknow Junction Express from Patliputra Junction to Lucknow Junction and vice versa, and 2) Train number 11123-24 Barauni-Gwalior Mail from Gwalior to Barauni and vice versa. These trains will now have reduced trips per week.
