Doctor Couple Killed in Foggy Vaishali Road Accident; Investigation Launched to Ensure Highway Safety Standards

In the early hours of Saturday, a heartbreaking scene unfolded in Vaishali, Bihar. A doctor couple, Dr. Jitendra Prasad, aged 50, and his wife, 45, lost their lives in a severe road accident near the Sarai police station toll plaza. They were returning home to Patna from Araria when their car crashed into a parked container on a foggy highway.

The accident took place around 4:15 am on the Muzaffarpur-Patna lane, where thick fog made visibility nearly impossible. Reports suggest that their speeding car collided with the container parked on the side of the road.
