Dr. Pragati Verma’s Journey to Success
Every year, thousands of candidates appear for the UPSC exams, but only a few are able to achieve success. Dr. Pragati Verma, who secured 355th rank in the UPSC 2023 exam, is one such success story. Despite having a job at a hospital, she dedicated herself to preparing for the exam and emerged victorious.
From MBBS to UPSC Success
Dr. Pragati Verma, a resident of Maham in Haryana, completed her schooling and MBBS from PGIMS Rohtak. After obtaining an MD in Radiodiagnosis from PGIMER Chandigarh, she worked as a senior resident at AIIMS Delhi and PGIMER Chandigarh. Even after getting married and becoming a mother, she continued her career as a radiology consultant in private and corporate hospitals in Kurukshetra while preparing for civil services exams.
Achieving Success in Civil Services
Dr. Pragati Verma’s journey to success in the UPSC exams was filled with ups and downs. After initially falling short in the prelims in 2021, she persevered and improved her rank to 740 in the 2022-23 exams, securing a place in the DANICS cadre. She also secured the second rank in the Haryana Civil Services exam in the same year. With her dedication and hard work, Dr. Pragati Verma continues to inspire others with her remarkable achievements.
