Dr. Ajay Kumar Claims Congress is Essential for Government Formation in Odisha
Dr. Ajay Kumar, the in-charge of Odisha and member of AICC, claimed that no government can be formed in the state without the Congress party. He mentioned that the party is expected to perform well in the upcoming assembly elections. He also stated that the people of the country are tired of BJP’s ten years of misrule and are seeking a change this time.
Congress Leader Kumar Predicts Victory in Lok Sabha and Assembly Seats in Odisha
During a press conference in Jamshedpur, Congress leader Kumar predicted that the party has a chance of winning eight to nine out of the 21 Lok Sabha seats in the state. He also highlighted a golden opportunity for the party to perform well in the upcoming assembly elections. Kumar emphasized that without Congress, no government can be formed in Odisha.
Satirical Response to BJP’s Claim of Winning 400+ Seats
Odisha in-charge Kumar sarcastically responded to BJP’s claim of winning over 400 seats in the upcoming elections. He clarified that people have misunderstood the claim as BJP was not referring to winning 400 seats. Instead, it implied that if BJP retains power in the next general elections, the prices of petrol and diesel could increase up to Rs. 400 per liter.
Congress Efforts to Corner BJP in Various Issues
Kumar made efforts to corner BJP in the case of an attack on AAP MP Swati Maliwal inside Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. He clarified that the party stands against any crime towards women. He also questioned why BJP remains silent on the sexual assault allegations against JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, despite numerous audio and video evidence. No action has been taken against him yet.
