In Munger district, a serious incident took place near Purbasarai Railway Bridge where a grocery store owner shot an e-rickshaw driver, Mohammad Sajan. This happened late on Tuesday night after a drunken argument. The injured driver was rushed to Sadar Hospital, and thankfully, his condition is stable now.

Sajan reported that he was returning home when shopkeeper Mehboob Alam, who was reportedly drunk, stopped him. Without any provocation, Mehboob started abusing Sajan. When Sajan tried to defend himself, the shopkeeper threatened him and told him to leave.

The following morning, Sajan went to Mehboob’s shop to complain about his behavior. This angered the shopkeeper, who then shot Sajan from inside the shop. The bullet hit Sajan’s leg, causing him to fall and writhe in pain.

Family members quickly took Sajan to Munger Sadar Hospital. The doctors found that the bullet was lodged near his leg bone and have kept him under observation for possible surgery. Right now, he is out of danger, but the situation remains tense in the area.

Police have started investigating the incident and are looking for Mehboob Alam, who has been booked for the shooting. Local residents are feeling scared due to this incident, and Sajan’s family is pleading for justice and quick action against the shopkeeper.
