School Education and Literacy Department, Jharkhand to fill 15 posts through direct appointment
The School Education and Literacy Department, Jharkhand will make direct appointments for 15 posts including the District Education Extension Officer and lower education services. The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission will conduct the examination for these appointments. The Department of School Education and Literacy has abolished the Jharkhand Lower Education Service Rules 2014 and has formulated new service rules. The notification for the same has also been issued. Several changes have been made in the salary structure of these posts as mentioned in the notification.
Promotion decisions for lower education service posts to be taken by a committee
A Promotion Decision Committee will be responsible for promotions to the lower education service posts from the lower education service category. The Department has also formed a five-member committee for this purpose, with the Director of Primary Education being appointed as the Chairman. Other members of the committee include the Senior Regional Joint Director of Education, a designated officer from the Personnel Department, a designated officer from the Education Department, and Deputy Director/Subject In-charge of Primary Education.
Changes in grade pay after promotion
After promotion, a change in grade pay will take place, increasing it to Rs 4600. Additionally, after serving for eight years in these posts, promotions will also be given to the Under Secretary of Jharkhand Academic Council, Assistant Program Officer, and Assistant Education Planning Director. These promotions will include a grade pay of Rs 4800, in addition to the specified salary. The maximum age limit for direct appointment will be the same as determined by the Personnel Department for government service appointments. The appointment will be made through a competitive examination conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.
Qualifications required for direct recruitment
For direct recruitment, the minimum qualification required is a Bachelor’s degree or B.Tech/BBE/BCA/LLB and B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks, or a Bachelor’s degree with B.Ed and two years of experience with a minimum of 45% marks, or a Bachelor’s degree or B.Tech/BBE/BCA/LLB and two years of B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks, or a Bachelor’s degree or B.Tech/BBE/BCA/LLB and two years of Special B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks, or a 4-year B.A./B.SC.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.SC.Ed. Written examination will consist of three papers.
झारखंड में स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग ने अवर शिक्षा सेवा के 15 पदों की सीधी नियुक्ति की घोषणा की है। इन पदों पर नियुक्ति के लिए झारखंड कर्मचारी चयन आयोग द्वारा परीक्षा आयोजित की जाएगी। इसके साथ ही अवर शिक्षा सेवा के संवर्गीय पदों पर प्रोन्नति का निर्णय कमेटी लेगी। इसके बाद नियुक्ति के लिए पत्र जारी किया जाएगा। सीधी भर्ती के लिए न्यूनतम योग्यता होगी स्नातक/बीटेक/बीबीए/बीसीए/एलएलबी और दो साल का बीएड या बीएड/बीएससीएड या बीएएड/बीएससीएड। परीक्षा में तीन पेपर होंगे।
