Impact of Remal Storm in Jharkhand

In several districts of Jharkhand, the impact of the Remal storm can be seen. Clouds are looming over places like Dhanbad and Devghar. Areas in Santal and Kolhan may also experience the effects of the Remal storm, with winds reaching speeds of 50 to 60 km per hour.

Orange Alert for Rain in Jharkhand

The weather department has issued an orange alert for rainfall in various parts of the state until May 28th. There is no possibility of any significant changes in the weather until June 1st. Meanwhile, some districts in the state continue to record temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius.

Recent Rainfall and Temperature Recordings

Over the past 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in some parts of the state. The highest rainfall was recorded in Simdega district at 16.2 mm, while the highest temperature was recorded in Saraikela at 42.4 degrees Celsius. Ranchi recorded the lowest temperature at 25.5 degrees Celsius.

Weather Forecast and Alerts

The weather department has forecasted light rainfall with thunder in the northeastern, central, and southern parts of the state today. Rainfall is expected in the eastern and central parts on May 28th, and in various northeastern parts on May 29th and 30th. Devghar is also experiencing dense clouds and strong winds. Alerts have been issued in different parts of the state for varying levels of rainfall and temperature.
