Challenges in the Fourth Phase of Elections
In the fourth phase of elections, five Lok Sabha seats are up for grabs. Central Ministers Giriraj Singh and Nityanand Rai are facing tough competition. Former National President of the ruling Janata Dal United in Bihar, Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh, is also awaiting his fate. The political career decision of Ashok Chaudhary’s daughter, Shambhavi Chaudhary, will also be decided in this phase. A total of 55 candidates are contesting on the five seats in Bihar in this phase, including four women.
RJD Candidate Appeals to Delhi Voters
Out of these ten candidates, six are such that they will not vote for themselves or anyone else. This is because they belong to a different parliamentary constituency. For example, both candidates from Ujiyarpur, BJP’s Nityanand Rai and RJD’s Alok Mehta, are residents of Hajipur. The candidates from Samastipur, Shambhavi Chaudhary of LJP (R) and JDU candidate Lalan Singh from Mungar, are residents of the Patna Sahib parliamentary constituency. BJP’s Giriraj Singh is contesting from Begusarai but he is a resident of the Mungar Lok Sabha constituency. Not only that, the wife of Bahubali Ashok Mahato and RJD candidate from Mungar, Kumari Anita, is a voter in Delhi.

चौथे चरण में बिहार की पांच सीटों पर चुनाव हो रहे हैं, जिसमें दो केंद्रीय मंत्रियों की प्रतिष्ठा दांव पर है। इसमें बिहार सरकार के मंत्री अशोक चौधरी की बेटी शांभवी चौधरी और राजद प्रत्याशी दिल्ली की वोटर हैं। इन 55 से छह प्रत्याशियों में से छह उम्मीदवार अपने ही संसदीय क्षेत्र के रहने वाले हैं। इसमें भाजपा के गिरिराज सिंह और राजद की कुमारी अनिता भी शामिल हैं।
