Electricity Theft in Bahadurganj
Four people have been booked for priority for stealing electricity from the power supply sub-division Bahadurganj. To prevent electricity theft, a raiding team conducted raids in different parts of Bahadurganj block, where a total of four people were caught stealing electricity illegally.
Raid Conducted by Department Officials
According to information, a raiding team was formed with several electricity officials including Assistant Electrical Engineer Chandan Singh, Electrical Engineer Anil Kumar, and Executive Engineer Sujit Kumar. The team conducted raids at LRPI Chowk, Satal, and Majar Road in Bahadurganj and caught many people red-handed.
Losses Incurred and Charges Made
It has been stated that a loss of 3 lakh 52 thousand rupees has been caused by Ram Lakhan Yadav. During the raid at the shops of Vijay Kumar Sah on Majar Road, Bhola Sah, and Deepak Kumar at LRPI Chowk, they were also caught stealing electricity. These three individuals are accused of causing a loss of around 75 thousand rupees each. The Bahadurganj police station has filed a case against all four individuals.
Further Actions to be Taken
The Station House Officer Abhinav Parasur informed that a case has been registered against all four individuals at the Bahadurganj police station. Further action will be taken after this initial step.
