The dispute between the husband and wife in the Rasulpur Thana area of Chapra escalated when the husband arrived home from work and a heated argument ensued. The husband, in a fit of rage, attacked his wife and two daughters with a knife, fatally injuring one daughter and his wife. Following the violent act, the husband also inflicted self-harm with the same knife and is currently hospitalized with one of his daughters.
