In a tragic incident, a farmer lost his life while trying to extinguish a fire that broke out in his field in the Bharapura village of Vibhutipur police station area in Samastipur district. The farmer, identified as Ram Avatar Sah, 65 years old, got caught in the flames while trying to put out the fire and succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The police have seized the body and sent it to the district hospital for post-mortem. A UD case has been registered regarding the incident.
Relatives of the deceased farmer, Pawan Kumar, who arrived at the district hospital for the post-mortem, shared details about the incident.
