Two young men died in a road accident in Madhepura. They were on their way to watch a cultural program on Thursday night when their bike collided with a speeding Scorpio near the TV showroom in Ghamharia under the Sadar subdivision. The accident was so severe that both of them died on the spot. The incident caused panic in the area and a crowd gathered. People started demanding the arrest of the Scorpio driver.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the scene and began investigation. The bodies were sent to Madhepura Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The police are currently searching for the Scorpio driver and conducting raids. The deceased have been identified as Anikesh Kumar (23), son of Ashok Mandal from Rajpur Ward-04 under the Pipra Thana area of Supaul district, and Raja Kumar (22), son of Sitaram Mandal.

According to local residents, both young men were going to watch a cultural program organized on the occasion of Kali Puja in Chaughara of Supaul district. There was a performance by Mahi-Manisha. They lost their lives in the accident involving the speeding Scorpio. Relatives say that Anikesh and Raja were brothers. Anikesh was studying in Patna and had come home during the Chhath holiday. Their mother is a postmaster in Rajpur block of Pipra district, while their father works in the electricity department in Jadia. Raja was the youngest among two brothers and two sisters. He was studying for his graduation part-2 while staying at home. His father is a professor in a private college in Katihar.
