**Tragic Accident in Nalanda**
In Nalanda, six young men were returning home on two bikes after attending a wedding in Biharsharif. Near the toll plaza in the Nalanda police station area, an unknown vehicle hit them. Two of the young men on the bikes lost their lives, while three others were seriously injured. The incident took place near the NH 120 toll plaza on the main road from Biharsharif to Rajgir. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Anas Faizal (19) and Asad Alam (22), residents of Mahal in the Bihar police station area, and the injured include Amir, Fayaz, and Sameer from Banouliya.
**Return from Rajgir Silav after Worship**
The young men were returning from Rajgir Silav after attending a Shab-e-Barat worship event. The accident occurred near the toll plaza on their way back. The injured were taken to the Biharsharif Sadar Hospital by Dial 112 police, where two of the young men were declared dead. The three others were referred to a higher center for better treatment.
**Police Investigation Underway**
After the incident, a large number of people rushed to the Sadar Hospital upon receiving the news. The confirmation of the deaths caused chaos among the relatives, making the hospital premises somber. The BDPO Anjan Datta arrived at the hospital after the confirmation of the deaths and provided a family benefit of Rs 20,000 to the deceased’s relatives. The police have conducted a post-mortem of the bodies and are taking necessary actions in the case.
