Accident in Purnia
In Purnia, a collision between a bike and a rickshaw occurred. Two brothers were riding the bike. One of them died in the accident, while the other is in critical condition. The accident happened while trying to save a child crossing the road. The bike riders collided with the rickshaw.
Victims Identified
The deceased bike rider has been identified as Arvind Hembram (24) from Kemai village in the Bhawanipur police station area. The injured person has been identified as Sunny Kisku (23). The collision resulted in one fatality and serious injuries to the other.
Relation between Victims
The deceased and the injured are actually cousins. Jitendra Kisku, the brother of the deceased, revealed that Arvind Hembram and Sunny Kisku were cousins. They had gone to Vishunpur for some work and the accident occurred while returning near Dhokua Mod in Bhawanipur.
Police Investigation
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the scene. The body has been sent to GMCH Purnia for postmortem. The injured have been admitted to GMCH Purnia for treatment, where one of them succumbed to his injuries while the other remains in critical condition.
