Tragic Incident in Semarahi Village
In a heartbreaking incident in Semarahi village in the Gopalganj district, a father and son lost their lives due to an electric current shock. The bodies were discovered by local residents on Monday morning, leading to shock and grief among the family members.
Police Investigation Underway
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and sent the bodies for postmortem to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital. The deceased were identified as Ramjiesh Yadav, a 50-year-old resident of Semarahi village, and his 23-year-old son Kamlesh Kumar. The police suspect that the incident occurred while they were working in the fields.
Tragic Accident in the Fields
It is reported that Ramjiesh Yadav and Kamlesh Kumar were working in the fields on Sunday night when a high-tension wire broke and fell on their path. Due to the darkness of the night, no one was around to help them, leading to the unfortunate accident. The bodies were discovered the next morning by some villagers.
Police Statement on the Incident
The Station House Officer, Vikas Pandey, stated that the tragic deaths occurred due to an electric shock from the high-tension wire. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter and have ordered a postmortem on the bodies to determine the exact cause of death.
