In Bihar, a father has committed a shocking act that has left everyone stunned. People are wondering how a father could do such a thing. A deranged father killed his two and a half month old son by cutting his head with an axe. The accused father, Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Sarvapur in Tariyani, has been arrested by the police. The incident took place in the Chicknauta village under Shivhar police station area.
**Quietly Carried Out the Act**
According to the police, all the family members were preparing for the Chhath Puja early in the morning. During this time, when the family members started looking for the child, they could not find him. This raised suspicions on Rajesh Kumar and people started questioning him rigorously. Rajesh then confessed that he took the child quietly from home, went to a secluded place, and brutally killed him with a sharp weapon. He then returned home and went to sleep. The family immediately informed the police about the incident.
**Wife Had Asked for a Blessing**
The police stated that Shankar Shah, the ward number 24 councilor’s daughter, Gauri, got married to Rajesh Kumar from Sarvapur in Tariyani 22 years ago. After a few years, Gauri went to her maternal home. Rajesh also went there and they started living there. Later, they had two daughters. Gauri asked for a blessing for a son, and a son was born to her a month and a half ago. After the blessing was fulfilled, Gauri performed the Chhath Puja.
**Purchased Sharp Weapons by Selling Grains**
In relation to the incident, SP Anand Kumar Rai mentioned that a few days ago, Rajesh had gone to his mother’s house in Mali Pokhar, where he bought a knife and an axe by selling grains. He then used the same knife to commit the heinous act of killing his son.
