The absconding accused surrendered in the court in the case of shooting a young man after entering a private hospital in Dharhara in the town police station area of Arrah. The surrendered accused Gautam Yadav is a resident of Ahirpurwa Mohalla of Town police station area.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar confirmed the surrender. During this, he told that the matter has been disclosed within 24 hours. The accused had shot a young man resident of Patna during a love affair. Now the police will take the accused on remand and interrogate him.
Identification of miscreants from CCTV footage
He told that the police had got hold of a CCTV footage. It is seen in the CCTV footage that a person wearing a yellow T-shirt comes and shoots the person sitting on the bed inside three times.
When the people present there protested, the person firing started running away quickly. Two attackers are visible in the footage and one was riding a bike.
What is the whole matter
Let us tell you that late on Thursday evening, an armed criminal entered a private hospital located in Dharhara of Town Police Station area and killed a resident of Patna. The young man was shot with bullets. The injured youth, 33-year-old Ranganath Chauhan, is the son of Sitaram Chauhan, resident of Bali village of Gaurichak police station area of Patna district.
The injured youth was hit by three bullets and has been admitted to a private hospital located at Babu Bazaar in Arrah city for treatment.
The young man had denied the matter of dispute
As soon as the information about the incident was received, Town Police Station Head Sanjeev Kumar along with the police force reached the private hospital and investigated the matter. Police had recovered two shells from the spot.
SP Pramod Kumar had formed a team to uncover the matter. The accused were identified from the CCTV footage, after which a raid was conducted to arrest them. Some were detained. Then the identified accused Gautam surrendered in the court.

Injured Ranganath Chauhan told that his in-laws house is in Dhanupara village of Town police station area. On August 28 (Monday), his wife was delivered through operation at a private hospital in Dhanupara and is admitted there. With this in mind, he had come to his in-laws’ house.
On Thursday evening, he was sitting on the bed in the hospital when an armed criminal entered the hospital and fired indiscriminately, during which he was hit by three bullets. Due to this, he got seriously injured.
After this, he was brought to a private hospital located at Babu Bazaar in the city for treatment. Town Inspector Sanjeev Kumar said that the involvement of two people in this incident had come to light.
Intestine has been damaged due to bullet injury
Civil surgeon Dr Vikas Singh, who was treating the youth, said that the injured youth had been hit by three bullets. There was a lot of blood loss from the body due to the bullet injury. His intestine has also been damaged at seven places.
Two bullets have been removed after the operation. Damaged parts have also been repaired. However, the patient’s condition is not that good right now. He has been kept under observation.
