Abhishek Kumar shared that his entire family has been involved in agriculture. He holds a degree in B.Sc. Natural Science and worked for two years in the Shipping Corporation of India. Due to a hectic schedule, he quit his job and decided to venture into something new in 2015. After researching fish farming techniques in Israel, Indonesia, Thailand, and America online, he made a plan to start fish farming.
Successful Fish Farming Venture
After completing training at Motipur Fisheries Research Training Center, Abhishek built four cement tanks and started fish farming. He has started farming various species of fish like Singi, Rehu, and Catla. Currently, he earns an annual profit of 10 lakhs from his four tanks. Abhishek is planning to expand his fish farming business further to increase profits in the future.
