Bhagalpur Fish Market Faces Issues in Shifting Location
The fish market on the Tilakamanchi-Manali Chowk road in Bhagalpur has been facing difficulties in shifting to another location and dealing with encroachment issues by the municipal corporation. This has made it challenging for small fish business owners to operate. The district fisheries office has found the area of the fish market to be less than standard, leading to the removal of Tilakamanchi fish market from the selection process.
Proposals Sent for Peerpainti and Goradih
Plans for constructing fish markets in four locations in the district were in place, and the fisheries office had requested land proposals from relevant areas. Due to the availability of standard land proposals from Goradih and Peerpainti blocks, the department has been informed about this matter. Construction work is facing difficulties due to the smaller size of the designated areas received from other regions.
Challenges in Building Ponds Under Chief Minister’s Development Plan
Under the Chief Minister’s Integrated Chaur Development Plan, ponds or lakes are to be built in waterlogged land within six months. However, only 23 out of the designated 37 hectares of land can be acquired due to complications in obtaining land ownership certificates at the regional level, hindering the plan’s implementation.
Instructions for Proper Land Selection for Pond Construction
DM Dr. Naval Kishore Chaudhary has directed the establishment of coordination with the Fishermen Committee to select suitable land for pond construction. Coordination with relevant area officials should be established for the expected actions. Requests for revisions in the standard map from the department should be made according to the available land. If coordination is needed with regional officials or other departments in special cases, it should be placed in the block-level coordination committee. The divisional officer should also be informed. The district development branch should be informed seven days before the committee meeting so that action can be taken.
भागलपुर के तिलकामांझी-मनाली चौक रोड के मछली बाजार को दूसरी जगह शिफ्ट करने और अतिक्रमण के विवाद के चलते नगर निगम की कार्रवाई से गुजर रहा है। जिला मत्स्य कार्यालय ने मछली बाजार के क्षेत्रफल को मानक से कम पाया है, जिसकी वजह से तिलकामांझी मछली बाजार को बाहर कर दिया गया है। जलमग्न भूमि में तालाब या पोखर निर्माण के लिए समन्वय स्थापित करने की भी योजना है, लेकिन अंचल स्तर से भू-स्वामित्व प्रमाणपत्र की कमी की वजह से कठिनाई हो रही है। इस समस्या का हल निकालने के लिए योग्य भूमि का चयनित किया जाना चाहिए।
