Six Child Scientists from Bihar Government Schools Selected for Sakura Science Exchange Program

Six child scientists studying in government schools of Bihar have been selected for the Sakura Science Exchange Program. This program aims to provide an opportunity for students to visit Japan and learn from their scientific advancements. The selected students are from class 11th and 12th of different higher secondary schools. This is the first time that children from government schools in Bihar are participating in this program.

Letter Issued by Bihar Education Project Council

The Bihar Education Project Council has issued a letter stating the selection of six students from Bihar for the Sakura Science Exchange Program in collaboration with Japan Science and Technology. These students are from government schools and include students from Patna Collegiate School, Islamia High School Shekhpura, Mahadev High School Khusruppur, TS College Hisua, and Project Girls Inter School Rajauli.

Winners at National Science Competitions

All the selected students have been winners in various science competitions at the national level. Nirjala Kumari, one of the selected students, secured a place in the top 10 of the Inspire Award with her automatic sieve invention. Muskaan Kumari, another selected student, created a model of an automatic drainage system and ranked in the top five in Inspire. The Sakura Science Exchange Program aims to introduce selected students to the activities of Sakura Science Club for one month, allowing them to learn and gain valuable insights.

बिहार के सरकारी स्कूलों के बच्चे जापान के बाल वैज्ञानिकों के रूप में सक्रिय हो रहे हैं। जापान के साथ विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी के सहयोग में बिहार शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद ने एक पत्र जारी किया है। इस पत्र में, बिहार के 6 बच्चों को सकुरा विज्ञान आदान-प्रदान कार्यक्रम के लिए चुना गया है। इनमें से दो छात्र पटना कॉलेजिएट स्कूल के हैं। इसके अलावा, पटना के महादेव हाई स्कूल, खुसरूपुर, नवादा के टीएस कॉलेज हिसुआ और प्रोजेक्ट गर्ल्स इंटर स्कूल, राजौली से भी छात्रों का चयन हुआ है। इन छात्रों में से कई राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विजेता रह चुके हैं। इनमें से निर्जला कुमारी ने एक स्वचालित छाननी बनाकर इंस्पायर अवार्ड में शीर्ष 10 में स्थान बनाया था। वहीं, मुस्कान ने एक स्वचालित नाली प्रणाली का मॉडल बनाकर इंस्पायर में शीर्ष पांच में स्थान बनाया था। जापान भारत, इंडोनेशिया, मलेशिया, नेपाल, श्रीलंका, थाईलैंड और वियतनाम के साथ विज्ञान आदान-प्रदान कार्यक्रम चलाता है। इसके लिए चुने गए छात्रों को एक महीने के लिए सकुरा विज्ञान क्लब की गतिविधियों से परिचय मिलता है।
