आवेदन देने के बाद जबरन दी गई चुनावी ड्यूटी के चलते मुंगेर लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में एक पीठासीन अधिकारी की हार्ट अटैक से मौत हो गई। उन्होंने अपनी बीमारी को लेकर आवेदन भी दिया था लेकिन जिला प्रशासन ने उन्हें जबरन ड्यूटी दी जिसके बाद उनकी मौत हो गई। परिजनों का कहना है कि उन्हें ड्यूटी देने के बाद भी अपनी गंभीर स्थिति को देखते हुए चुनावी ड्यूटी से मुक्त करना चाहिए था। ओंकार कुमार चौधरी ने अपने आवेदन में अपनी बीमारी की जानकारी दी थी लेकिन उन्हें भी चुनावी ड्यूटी पर लगाई गई थी। यह घटना लोकसभा चुनाव क्षेत्र में चरम संवेदनशीलता और चेतावनी के साथ मान्य की जा रही है।
